This bright, modern apartment is a great base from which to discover all that Barcelona has to offer and is a great place to come back to and relax after a long day´s sightseeing. Located within easy walking distance to the beautiful Ciudatella Park and the old city centre, it is a great place to call home during your time in the city.... 

The apartment has three bedrooms and can easily accommodate five people. There is a lovely living room complete with TV, ideal for relaxing, as well as a balcony, perfect for taking in some of that wonderful Spanish sun. There also is a fully equipped kitchen allowing you to prepare home cooked meals. Bed linen and towels are provided, and the apartment is fitted with air conditioning and heating, ensuring a comfortable stay.

District

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. You will also find plenty of great bars and cafés here, too, and if you decide to choose one of the many Barcelona apartments in Eixample Derecho for your stay, you will be able to easily explore the city, due to the neighbourhood's convenient, central location and excellent public transportation services.  Read more

The location was excellent for Parc Guell and it was a pleasant walk into the centre. We loved visiting the nearby bunkers too. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable and the entry system and felt very secure. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and the little mini-markets nearby made self-catering easy.

We were all very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and surprised how well we slept. The location was fine but with an elderly mother it was a little difficult to get around with her but overall the short stay was great. We thank Eva & Jacques for their professionalism, fantastic customer service and flexibility in allowing our daughter who lives there to collect the keys and return them to save us the journey going into town on the last day. We would all welcome working with Eva & Jacques again the next time we are in Barcelona visiting and thanks again for making our trip all that more enjoyable! :)

Appartement propre avec le nécessaire pour y séjourner . Le quartier est tranquille . Très proche du Park Güell et à 15 mn en voiture du centre ville . Un peu loin a pied du centre apres il y a les transports en commun . Il faut compter 12€ en taxi à partir de la place Catalunya .
