Description

This apartment is located in the lovely Barcelona neighborhood of Eixample. You will find lots of bars and cafés nearby, as well as fantastic restaurants. The breathtaking Sagrada Familia church is located just a few blocks away and you can easily reach the rest of Barcelona´s fantastic sights in minutes thanks to the metro station located just outside the building. ... 

The apartment has lovely fittings and furniture. There are six single beds, allowing a total of six people to sleep comfortably in the apartment. A fully equipped kitchen provides all utensils you need to create an own meals, just as you would do at home. The living room has a TV and a large sofa, perfect for unwinding after a day full of sightseeing. An Internet connection is available in the apartment, making it easy for you to keep in touch with friends and family back home. The apartment has air conditioning and a washing machine, too. The apartment comes with two bathrooms.

Due to a perfect location, a metro station within walking distance and great facilities, this apartment is the ideal base for your stay in Barcelona.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. Quite pleased with our stay. AB Home delivered well on their description of the apartment. The new access app was great and provided all members of our stay a key. Location was excellent, short walk to the metro stations and rail near Passeig de Gràcia. If you need parking, there’s a public garage next door at the Medical college. Everything you need is available at the many markets and pharmacies along the street. There are great restaurants nearby, would personally recommend my friend’s Piazze D’Italia. Plenty of nightlife too!

The apartment worked well for our purposes. The location was great, and the facilities were good. The kitchen lacked one or two things - a chopping board and a strainer for example - but was otherwise well-equipped. We had one or two problems with the tv remote and light bulbs blowing, which your staff dealt with quickly and efficiently.
