Description

This studio apartment with space for up to 2 people is found in the iconic Eixample neighbourhood of Barcelona. With WiFi, a communal terrace, and air conditioning, you will settle in quickly to this apartment.... 

In the open living-diner area, there is lots of natural light. You will have the sofa and television to use, as well as having lots of storage space in the cabinet next to it. Additionally, there is the dining table and chairs to use for all your meal times.

In terms of cooking in the apartment, you have the fully-equipped kitchen to use. Here you will find a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and microwave. Additionally, the apartment comes ready equipped with pots and pans as well as utensils, to enable you to feel at home straight away.

The bedroom space has a double bed for you to live in comfort. It is sectioned off to give a more private space in the apartment. In addition to this, there is the bathroom complete with shower.

Please note: the apartment is not equipped with towels. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Being located in Eixample offers a great spot just in walking distance of some of the city´s most iconic sights. For a fantastic day of shopping, you are just 10-minute´s walk from the Passeig de Gràcia which is lined with both luxurious, high end stores, as well as high street shops. From the apartment you are also just 13-minute´s walk from the Plaça de Catalunya, which gives you access to Las Ramblas. For food shopping, there is a Lidl Supermarket at 2 minute´s walk from the apartment, and for fresh produce the Mercat de la Boqueria at 17-minute´s walk away.

Please note: there is parking available in the building, subject to availability. The price is not included in the rental cost. To reserve a parking spot, you must process this upon arrival to the building´s car park.

The airbnb is at a great location close to a lot of activities. It took us a minute to figure out the digital key system, but once we figured it out it was all ok. The two bathrooms is very helpful for a family.

District

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.

Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d'Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic 'Woman and Bird' sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.

Nothing but good things to say!! Host allowed us to check in early, and responded quickly. Space was clean and we were provided with cleaning supplies which was helpful since we stayed over a week. Good wifi service, quiet and calm building. The apartment was in a central area with lots to do around. Would recommend or book again!

It was a nice airbnb but just the essentials. It was great for our trip since we spent so little time in the apartment anyways. Great neighborhood and close to public transit. You’re a bit further out from where the action is, but that was preferable for us as we wanted a quieter neighborhood. Because you’re close to public transit, it’s easy to get to the main tourist attractions. Restaurants were great in the area, lots of yummy tapas and breakfast spots nearby.

Very clean and spacious. There were 3 of us and you could easily do 5 people and be comfortable. Kitchen was clean and so were bathrooms, the shower was great and there was laundry as well which was great.

Wir sind sehr spät (nach Mitternacht) am Apartment angekommen. Es war vereinbart, dass wir telefonisch über eine 24h-Service AB informieren und ein Mitarbeiter mit Schlüssel zum Apartment kommt. Das hat auch geklappt. Die Kommunikation mit AB ist sehr gut und schnell. Es war immer jemand erreichbar. Das Apartment ist gut. Besonders die 2 Duschen und 2 WCs sind sehr gut. Die restliche Ausstattung ist ok. Die Lage war für uns ideal. Vieles lässt sich zu Fuß erreichen. Die nächste Metro ist ca. 400 m entfernt.

No hay armarios cerrados, sólo unas baldas de Ikea con percheros, en los baños un par de juegos de geles de baño de cortesía, el papel higiénico justito, y si se acaba al preguntar por teléfono si en algún sitio había repuesto, me dijeron literalmente que "corre a cargo del huésped". Si no es por el coste económico, que es nimio, es porque es incómodo para 3 días de estancia tener que andar yendo al supermercado a comprar papel. Deberían de cuidar más esos detalles. Qué menos que un rollo de repuesto en cada baño, más que nada por evitar "imprevistos"…

We recommend barcelona apartments if you want to have some nice holidays without any troubles. And even more beside our pleasant stay, we have also won 4 tickets to a Catalunyan show which was a great and very energetic show. The apartment we have rent was exactly as described, it was newly furnished, tv, completely equiped kitchen, etc. The only negative thing about it, was the cleaning fee which seemed to us a little too big just to receive the apartment clean. But per total we have been really pleased about our staying in Barcelona.
