This apartment is ideally situated in the centre of Barcelona on the famous Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. Just minutes away from one of the most popular areas of the Catalan capital, including Passeig de Gràcia, the home of fine dining and shopping in Barcelona. This area is surrounded by many major sights including the famous Las Ramblas. Plaça d’ Espanya is also just a short walk away, where you will find the Las Arenas shopping centre, a former bull fighting ring, and the colourful Magic Fountain of Montjuïc....
It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so it is a great choice for a family or small group.
The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare your favorite meals just as you would in your own home. Additionally, a Nespresso Coffee Machine is provided, guaranteeing a perfect cup of coffee in the morning. Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district....
Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.
Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d'Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic 'Woman and Bird' sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.

La localisation de l’appartement est parfaite pour visiter Barcelone. Le logement est adapté pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le principe des clés digitales est très pratique et fonctionne bien. My friend and I were on a business trips for 12 nights and this apartment was the perfect location for us. The bedrooms were very spacious and as advertised but lacked a place to hand up clothes and this would have been very useful for us, but again we were satisfied.
The living area was good and had everything we needed - one slight disappointment was that the sofa on the advert did not match the sofa we were given, much smaller.
The bathroom/shower was very nice with plenty space again just like the bedrooms, the view from the balcony was amazing with decks chairs to sit out and enjoy the view.
The landlord was very responsive almost 24/7 which we really appreciated.
Overall very happy !!
