Description

This three-bedroom apartment is found in the Eixample district, with space for up to 5 people. With WiFi and air conditioning it offers all you need for a wonderful getaway in Barcelona.... 

The living area has lots of natural light, and has a sleek, modern design. You have the sofa and television to use to relax after a day spent exploring the city. The apartment also has exceptional views out onto the Sagrada Familia.

As for cooking in the apartment, you have the fully-equipped kitchen for you and your guests to use. Here you can find a toaster, kettle, and coffee maker, as well as an oven and microwave to cook dinner with your guests. Next to this space, you will find the dining table & chairs to use for meal times.

The bedrooms have 5 single beds altogether and come with bed linen and towels. They have lots of natural light and are spacious, with ample storage space. In addition to this, there is a bathroom complete with a shower and a bathroom with a toilet.

Being located in Eixample offers a great location for your stay in Barcelona, close to all the best sights. For some sightseeing, you are just 2-minute´s walk from the old bull ring of La Monumental, and just 8-minute´s walk from the Sagrada Familia. For shopping, you are just 11-minute´s walk from the Glòries Shopping Centre and only 8-minute´s by metro from the iconic Passeig de Gràcia. From here you have access to the Plaça Catalunya, and all the fantastic restaurants and bars in the area.

District

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. If you are travelling to Barcelona in a large group. I would recommend this place to you. As this has the basic and the location is great. Walking distance to most places i.e. retail shops, cafe and restaurant. Metro and buses are nearby. The place is affordable as well

Muy recomendable, la ubicación es buena, a 10 minutos andando de la sagrada familia. Es un piso antiguo pero adaptado con camas cómodas (las almohadas no, son blandas). Muy accesible y cerca de la L4 (metro) con la que puedes visitar la zona histórica, centro y tiendas. The apartment is great and perfect for a short stay in Barcelona with a large group. Be aware that the flat is in a residential building with old fashioned acoustics, so it's not the best option if you are planning to stay up late in the flat. Fine on the other hand if you are going out and just want a place to stay and mostly sleep.

Location is fantastic, right next to supermarkets, bars and restaurants as well as a metro station. We had issues accessing the apartment with the digital keys on check in but this was rectified quickly once I notified the company managing the site. Very large apartment with plenty of space for us all, the only thing lacking here was the communal area (living and eating) which was very small.

The apartment looked like photos and was spacious, lovely and very cool with good aircon. Beds were so comfy and bedrooms were dark when shutters closed so we could have a great sleep. Showers had really good pressure so always enjoyable. Good accessibility to get into apartment. Couple of blocks from metro and lovely neighbourhood. About 5 blocks from Plaza del Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter where all the shops were. 1 metro stop or a 20min walk to Sagrada Família. The host AB Apartments were super responsive and supportive. 24hr support and we tested that at 12.30am! I would def book with them again.
