The neighborhood of Poble Sec was the first extension built outside of Barcelona's historic city centre. Located at the base of Montjuïc, this neighbourhood has great access to all of the attractions on the hill, such as Poble Espanyol and many more museums....
The main avenue of Poble Sec is Avinguda Paral·lel, which has been one of the principal areas for activities and leisure since the end of the 19th century. This avenue is home to much of Barcelona's nightlife with bars and clubs dotted along the street, including the popular Sala Apolo. This Barcelona 'Broadway', rich in performance history, is currently laced with numerous theatres including the Victoria Theatre and the Teatre Condal, and is situated close to La Ciutat del Teatre and the Barcelona Teatre Musical, a stage for numerous musicals and dance shows.

Great stay for large groups, we had a fantastic 4 nights here. Rooms were spacious however the two interior rooms did not have natural daylight when all the doors were closed (not a problem for us). The apartment was great!
It has an amazing location and the price for the apartment was really worth it. The host was always available for any problem and spoke fluent Spanish and English. The only problem we had was that the heating didn’t work but it was just for a problem of the whole building in that week, and either way they came to try and fix it.
Overall the stay was splendid and so was the customer service.

Kitchen/chill out area and balcony was the highlight of our trip, loved having tea and snacks, rum and playing cards, and if we had more time we would have been able to make some great food with the very well equipped kitchen. We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and we were very happy in it. The TVs in every room were great for when we were getting ready to go out and the kitchen had everything for a big lunch for all of us at home. The beds were really comfortable as well. We would certainly stay here again.
