This lovely, modern apartment in Barcelona is located just a few minutes from Gaudí´s famous Sagrada Família. This area is surrounded by a number of great bars, cafés and restaurants as well as supermarkets and many more amenities. The colourful Torre Agbar is also located nearby and the centre of Barcelona is accessible in just minutes by public transport, including bus and metro. A short 20 minute bus journey will leave you at the foot of Barcelona´s beautiful Barceloneta beach. ... 

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to prepare meals in the comfort of this lovely apartment, including a microwave, hob cooker, toaster and even a coffee maker. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine in this apartment.

District

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. Die Wohnung liegt in einer belebten Ecke, so dass viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in wenigen Metern erreichbar waren. In dieser schönen Ferienwohnung hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Interior war stilvoll dekoriert und hat uns wirklich gut gefallen. Wir konnten zusammen kochen und hatten viel Spass. Die Metro befindet sich vor der Haustür, so konnten wir ganz einfach die ganze Stadt erkunden. Auch zum Montjuïc war es nicht weit. Gerne buchen wir wieder.
