Description

This apartment is located in the lovely Barcelona neighborhood of Eixample. You will find lots of bars and cafés nearby, as well as fantastic restaurants. The breathtaking Sagrada Familia church is located just a few blocks away and you can easily reach the rest of Barcelona´s fantastic sights in minutes thanks to the metro station located just outside the building. ... 

The apartment has lovely fittings and furniture. There are six single beds, allowing a total of six people to sleep comfortably in the apartment. A fully equipped kitchen provides all utensils you need to create an own meals, just as you would do at home. The living room has a TV and a large sofa, perfect for unwinding after a day full of sightseeing. An Internet connection is available in the apartment, making it easy for you to keep in touch with friends and family back home. The apartment has air conditioning and a washing machine, too. The apartment comes with two bathrooms.

Due to a perfect location, a metro station within walking distance and great facilities, this apartment is the ideal base for your stay in Barcelona.

District

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. Really great deal! The appartment had all we needed. As advertised, there was a nice terrace to spend the evenings on. The main room had TV with many options and Netflix. The bathroom had the hairdryer, which is often not the case. The in-app keys option worked with no issues.

Vi valgte å hente fysisk nøkkelkort, slik at vi er ikke kjent med digital nøkkel. Vi var 4 personer i en uke i leiligheten, som har nødvendig utstyr til enkel matlaging. Den har en flott møblert takterrasse. Varmtvannstanken gikk i stykker i løpet av oppholdet, den ble byttet neste dag. Dette ble utført raskt og uten problemer for oss. Området er rolig, til tross for gangavstand til sentrum. Er mulig å ta buss i umiddelbar nærhet om bakkene blir for slitsomme.

The apartment was modern and clean, and it was a comfortable stay for my family's vacation. The location in suburban El Carmel meant that there were few tourists around, which is a plus. There's frequent buses nearby to the city center. The response from the management team was quick as well. The best part of the unit was the rooftop terrace, which came with amazing views of Barcelona.

The apartment was perfect nearly in every aspect. There was only one small problem we had while staying there. The situation with the blankets was a little bit annoying. It didnt seem right that one of us had to sleep under one fluffy brown blanket, and i had to sleep with a way to big blanket right next to him. I didnt really know where to put this enormous blanket while sleeping. It was not that big of a problem, but it was just a little bit annoying. To be fair is that really the only thing to criticize from out point of view. Everything else was perfect!

The house is located in a suitable area for busses and metro station. The house is super comfortable, greatly equipped with almost everything. Heating and hot water always. Park Guell and metro El Carmel in a no more than 10 minute walk. Quiet neighborhood and flats and the AB team always on time on what we asked and wanted!!! Definitely recommended and for sure another visit for us!!!
