The dining room is very spacious and includes a television, sofa and dining table, with enough seating for everyone to enjoy meals together. This bright room is well decorated and features a characteristic wall that is also present in the bedrooms, highlighting the original touches incorporated into this renovated apartment.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare traditional Spanish dishes for your guests. Here you will also find a long kitchen unit with a marble countertop. This space is very clean and has plenty of natural light. You will also have a microwave, kettle and toaster at your disposal to prepare breakfast before a day of sightseeing.
The main bedroom, equipped with a double bed, offers a charming atmosphere. It features the same characteristic grey wall and bright, contemporary furniture such as the bedside table. There is also plenty of storage space for your belongings. The other two bedrooms each offer two single beds in spacious rooms with the same décor and artistic canvases found in the main bedroom. The two bathrooms are also recently renovated and include a shower.
The shared rooftop terrace offers impressive views over the entire city.
IMPORTANT: The rooftop terrace is open to guests only from April to October (Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00, with sun loungers available). Please respect this communal area and keep it tidy.
Located in Eixample, the apartment is within walking distance of some of Barcelona’s most iconic landmarks. You are just 9 minutes on foot from the Sagrada Família and 14 minutes on foot from the Arc de Triomf, an ideal area for lovers of historic architecture. District
Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.
Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.
The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.
Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece.
