As soon as you entre the apartment you will find a small reading corner with an exposed brick wall. Additionally, throughout the apartment there are visible elements which reflect the modernist era that Barcelona experienced, such as the hydraulic floors, Catalan vaults or mouldings, and orginal carpentry from that era.
The living room features 3-metre-high ceilings. It is a cosy space with lovely sofas and a coffee table, making it a truly relaxing area. This space also connects to the kitchen-diner, where you will find a TV, dining table, and breakfast bar. From here, you have access to the balcony, which lets natural light into the room.
With regards to cooking in the apartment, the kitchen is fully equipped, complete with a microwave, oven and coffee maker, among other utensils that you may need during your stay.
The property has 4 bedrooms, each offering sufficient storage space for your belongings. In addition, there are two bathrooms in the apartment. One of them is complete with a shower and toilet, while the other has seperate facilities for showering and using the toilet.
Eixample is a highly sought after location due to its friendly atmosphere and close proximity to the city centre. The iconic Plaça d´Espanya is located just a 12-minute walk from the property, where you will find the Arenas Shopping Centre, which is perfect for a wonderful day of shopping. Additionally, thanks to the good public transport services you can reach Plaça de Catalunya in less than 10 minutes via the metro, which gives you access to the infamous Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia. Although the dimensions are clearly indicated in the ad, the photos were taken with a wide-angle lens to better showcase the space, which may make it appear larger. Additionally, please note that the apartment has been enjoyed by several guests, so it may show some signs of normal wear and tear over time.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district....
Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.
Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d'Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic 'Woman and Bird' sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.
