Description

This recently renovated two-bedroom apartment with space for up to four people is located in the central Eixample neighborhood. With WiFi, air conditioning, and TV, it offers everything you might need for a wonderful vacation in Barcelona.... 

In the open kitchen-diner, there is a traditional feel, which is seen through the décor and wooden floors. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and coffee machine to use for all your meal times, as well as a dishwasher, pots and pans for you to settle into the apartment straight away. There is also the large wooden dining table to eat your meals upon together.

The living room has a stylish décor, with a comfortable sofa and armchair to use while relaxing and watching television with your guests.

There are 2 bedrooms which offer ample storage space for your belongings, in the same sleek design that can be seen throughout the apartment. In addition to this, there is the bathroom complete with shower.

Being located in Eixample offers the perfect spot to be just a short walk from some of the city´s most iconic sights. For a wonderful day of shopping, sight-seeing and exploring, there is the Plaça d´Espanya just a 12-minute walk away, where you can find the Arenas Shopping Centre complete with many restaurants and shops. The other famous open square in Barcelona, is the Plaza Catalunya which is a 20-minute walk away, which gives you access to Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia. As for getting fresh produce to cook with, there is the Mercat de Sant Antoni, only an 8-minute walk from the apartment.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.

Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d'Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic 'Woman and Bird' sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.

Appartement bien situé, facile d’accès et bien rangé. Seule remarque, l’annonce n’est pas toujours conforme. Il est mentionné qu’il n’y a pas de chauffage et pour 4 personnes maximum, or des boîtiers de climatisation/chauffage sont installés dans toutes les pièces et l’appartement dispose de 5 lits. Nous étions donc surpris à notre arrivée (en bien heureusement)

The host was super friendly and super responsive and helpful. The apartment was clean and spotless. I loved the super handy welcome packages that included all the basics needed for the stay. Apartment very light and spacious, AC , wifi, smart tv all worked perfectly. Fridge,Washing machine and microwave were clean and spotless. The place was very clean and comfortable. Very close to metro station L2 Paral-lel (~2 min walk). Supermarket in front of the apartment. The apartment is quiet and the area felt very safe. The best thing is the self-check-in process, especially if arriving after certain hours many other places charge extra. The location was also a plus, within walking distance of many touristic places and restaurants. Would totally recommend it to anyone.

This space was exactly what we needed. It's a comfortable place to sleep and keep your stuff. The space is not a great hangout space, but you're not in Barcelona to hang out in the airbnb. We did keep food there and have some small meals there and the space is nice for that. Pluses you might not have seen in the description: Washing machine (have to hang dry) they give you a package of cleaning supplies including for the dishwasher and laundry machine.

Location to the metro made it very easy to get around the city. There were plenty of grocery stores and pharmacies nearby as well. The apartment was clean with plenty of towels and other necessities. The host was very responsive with answers to any questions. The mobile keys worked perfectly and each guest had their own access. I recommend this apartment and would here again. We had no issues.
