Description

This two-bedroom apartment, with space for up to three people is found in the exciting Eixample district. With WiFi and air conditioning it offers all you could need for a wonderful break in Barcelona.... 

In the open living-diner, there is a traditional feel, which is seen through the décor and wooden floors, contrasted by the modern furnishings. You have the comfortable sofa, coffee table to use while watching the TV, after a long day of exploring the city. Next to this space, you will find the dining table, which allows you and your guests to eat together at meal times.

As for cooking in the apartment, the kitchen comes fully-equipped with a hob, microwave and coffee machine to use for all your meal times, as well as a dishwasher, pots and pans for your convenience.

One of the bedrooms has a double bed, with an exterior window which lets lots of natural light into the room. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can be pushed together to make a double bed, and has the same unique design which can be seen throughout the rest of the apartment. In addition to this, there is a complete bathroom with shower.

Being located in Eixample offers the perfect spot to be just a short walk from some of the city´s most iconic sights. For a wonderful day of shopping, sight-seeing and exploring, there is the Plaça d´Espanya just a 12-minute walk away, where you can find the Arenas Shopping Centre complete with many restaurants and shops. The other famous open square in Barcelona, is the Plaza Catalunya which is a 20-minute walk away, which gives you access to Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia. As for getting fresh produce to cook with, there is the Mercat de Sant Antoni, only an 8-minute walk from the apartment.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born urban planning visionary, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when creating the plans for this new district.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), both of which are home to some fantastic restaurants and stores.

Eixample Izquierdo is delimited by the grand, Passeig de Gràcia, a paradise for shopping and dining, and Plaça d'Espanya, where the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and one of the biggest convention centres in Barcelona can be found. The Parc de Joan Miró, with its iconic 'Woman and Bird' sculpture created by the Barcelona-born artist, is also situated here, as well as the Arenas shopping centre, which was once a bull-fighting ring.

We had an excellent time in this apartment. It's extremely well located, walkable to lots of fun places. The apartment layout is great - the kitchen/living room side faces a lively street and the bedrooms are on the quieter side, so we got to be right in the middle of all the fun without any noise issues. The Host was very responsive and proactive in helping us get prepared for arrival and check-in. The apartment was very nicely equipped. Overall, a great experience.

Location is great in the center of Barcelona night life ! Close to trains and buses and Lots of restaurants! House is beautiful and clean. Tv works well too! Do not plan on doing laundry on this place Bcz their machines don't work and they are too small. I travel with a big family 8 people and the only thing that needs improvement is the washer and dryer. The rest is perfect I live the white and clean house and that they have 2 big full bathrooms :) Plus you can walk to la Barceloneta :) Happy and safe travels friends! I hope this helps

It was a big comfortable apartment, easy and clean, for familys or groups of friends, restaurants, pubs and clubs and shops all around, we just loved it, very nice that we did not have to deliver the key card in the morning, and the staff at the office was so helpful and nice. Would thoroughly recommend these apartments for large groups. We had a hen weekend of 22 woman and 2 apartments and these were ideal. Location was perfect, very clean and staff were very helpful. Hope to be back soon :)
