Description

This spacious apartment is spread out over two floors, with the living area downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. With 2 double bedrooms and two double sofa beds. Situated just a small distance from Sagrada Familia, this apartment is in an ideal area that is not too far from the city centre. Among other amenities, you will have WiFi, heating and air conditioning, making this apartment ideal for a trip any time of the year.... 

The living diner provides you with a stylish and bright open space. With a TV, large sofa and dining table, you will quickly feel settled here. The contemporary décor of the apartment gives it a welcoming feel and shows the high degree to which the apartment has been finished. This recently refurbished apartment also offers its own private terrace, where you and your guests can enjoy mealtimes throughout the day, and a drink in the evening as the sun sets.

The fully-equipped kitchen is another nice space in the apartment; an ideal place to try cooking some Spanish dishes. You will also have a microwave, kettle and toaster.

Upstairs, you will find an open landing, where you can relax on the sofa before getting ready for an evening stroll. The two bedrooms continue the colourful and stylish feel that runs through the entire apartment. Both bedrooms have two single beds pushed together to make a larger bed. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space for your belongings. The apartment has a bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, as well as an additional toilet for you and your guests.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, this wonderful apartment gives you one of the most recognisable monuments in the city on your doorstep. If learning about Spanish culture interests you, then you can walk for 13 minutes to get to the El Monumental former bullring, now a marketplace and venue for concerts. It is a unique way to learn about the city’s history. Alternatively, if you want to have an opportunity to shop and see more works of art by Gaudí, just a 24-minute walk away from the apartment, is the designer high street Passeig de Gracia, which is Barcelona’s most iconic street.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. The apartment was great! It had everything we needed including little welcome packs including salt, oil and tea/coffee. The air conditioning was great and worked quickly to cool us down as it was so hot outside! The virtual keys also worked well and opened the doors on first try every time. The beds were comfy and the living room was nice for chilling in the evening. The host was easy to get in touch with and gave helpful instructions.

Das Apartment war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Auch Kleinigkeiten, die sonst anderswo oft nerven weil sie versagen, funktionierten wie z.B. das beim Duschen unmittelbar warmes Wasser kommt oder das die Klimaanlage/ Heizung ihren Dienst tadellos versieht oder das die Küchengeräte allesamt in Ordnung sind. Das Apartment war mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Sehr gut in Barcelonas Straßenschluchten: schallisolierende Fenster! Das Haus war auch insgesamt ruhig, was man in der Stadt oft nicht antrifft. Die Lage ist gut, viele Restaurants und Cafes sind in unmitelbarer Nähe, U-Bahn-Stationen ebenfalls. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt auch zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Excellent location, nice and quiet inside with some great eateries nearby. Metro close, but walkable to the main station and the Latin quarter too. We were on the top floor which is a bit of a slog on the stairs if the 3 to 4 person lift is busy , couch comfy but we found the bed quite firm. Was really nice, but it was expensive. I’m thinking Barcelona just is when it comes to accommodation. Ultimately, we loved Barcelona and would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay in Barcelona. 4 mins to the Rocafort station and 7 mins to Poble Sec station making it very easy to move around Barcelona through Metro. Very clean, keyless entry was very useful and has AC. The place is exactly like the pictures. Great family neighborhood too.
