Being such a modern apartment, the desire for a large social space being met by having the living-diner tied in with the kitchen. This space is has lots of natural light that comes in from its own balcony. In addition to this, the bright nature of the apartment is complimented by the white wash walls and exposed brickwork, this contrast of modern décor in a traditional building works well.
In the living room you have the space to relax and enjoy the TV or enjoy a meal on the four-seater dining table. You will be able to enjoy home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen that provides you with a microwave, oven and kettle, ensuring you have everything at your disposal to practice making paella! As well as this, the washing machine allows you to feel at home and keep your clothes fresh.
The double bedroom is separated from the social area by sliding doors, giving you some privacy from the rest of the apartment. Here you will find a double bed in a very spacious room that gives you plenty of storage space to keep your belongings in. As for the décor, this room is in keeping with the bright and traditional feel, as well as maintaining the subtle black and white theme that runs throughout. The bathroom is also contemporary and clean, with a modern take on the brickwork that is seen in the large walk-in shower.
As for the location of this wonderful apartment, you are only a two minute walk away from Barceloneta Beach, making it ideal for beach lovers. Some 15 minutes away you will be able to go to the Parc de la Ciutadella, one of the city´s many green spaces that has a lake and even the Barcelona Zoo. For culture, you have the Santa Maria del Mar only a 15 minute walk away, which is free to enter! Aside from that, you are a 9 minute walk from the Barceloneta Metro, where you can catch the L4 all around the city.

Barceloneta is a lovely neighbourhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, located where the island of Maians was once situated. It is known for its expanse of beaches, as well as its numerous bars and seafood restaurants. You will find the town close to the Barcelona Port, near to some great museums and within a short walking distance or a quick metro ride from all of the top spots for sightseeing in the city....
La Barceloneta was originally constructed for the residents of La Ribera, who were displaced by the construction of the Ciutadella fortress (now the Ciutadella Park) built by King Felipe V in the 18th century. Since then, with the development of Port Vell and Port Olímpic, the area has become a major attraction for tourists and residents alike. The Barcelona aquarium and the IMAX theatre are situated close by, as well as the large Maremagnum shopping centre and a number of nightclubs. What's more, when walking down Passeig de Colom from Barceloneta, you will soon find yourself at Las Ramblas.
