Description

This three-bedroom apartment is found in the central Eixample neighbourhood, with space for up to 6 people. With WiFi, a communal terrace and air conditioning it offers all you need for a wonderful stay in Barcelona. In the open living-diner, there is lots of natural light from the window. You have the sofa & television to use and relax upon. Next to this space, you will find the dining table, for you and your guests to use at meal times.... 

As for cooking in the apartment, you have the fully-equipped kitchen at your disposal for all meal times. Here you can find a microwave, toaster and coffee machine to use for breakfast time, as well as an oven and hob to cook dinner with your guests.

All three bedrooms have double beds, and they give off a very spacious feel with ample storage space. In addition to this, there are two bathrooms complete with showers to provide a private space for guests.

Being located in Eixample offers the perfect location in Barcelona, in easy access of everything you could need. For some sightseeing, you are just 7-minute´s walk away from the Sagrada Familia and only 5-minute´s walk from the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site. For shopping, you are only 18-minute´s walk from the Glòries Shopping Centre. Also, in terms of food shopping, there is a supermarket just 3-minute´s walk from the apartment.

Eixample is Catalan for 'extension', meaning an extension of the old Barcelona city, and it is one of the most popular districts in the Catalan capital. Eixample was designed by Catalan-born architect, Ildefons Cerdà, who took traffic and sunlight (amongst many other things) into consideration when drawing up the plans of the new area.... 

Eixample is now characterised by its octagonal blocks and its grid-like pattern, with wide streets and both commercial and residential areas. It is split into two parts, Eixample Esquerra (Left, or in Spanish, Izquierdo) and Eixample Dret (Right, or in Spanish, Derecho), and is home to one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia, known for its high fashion stores and trendy restaurants.

The street is intersected by the long Avinguda Diagonal, which runs through the entire city.

Eixample Derecho is home to many gems of 'Modernisme' architecture, including the unique Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the colourful Casa Batlló and the towering Sagrada Familia, known as Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. Thought the location was great. Handy to have some good places to eat and drink on the doorstep when travelling as a family. We loved Don Asador for steak and the atmosphere and also Las Cañas for fab tapas. As well as Baden Baden downstairs for a coffee or drink Lots to see and do within reach.
