This wonderful apartment can be found right in the authentic Born area, just 10m from Passeig del Born, just next to the Ciutadella Park and not too far from the beach. It has brilliant access to some of the most popular attractions in the city, as well as an amazing location in the Ciutat Vella area of Barcelona, packed with boutiques, bars, restaurants and much more....

The beautiful Born neighbourhood in Barcelona is characterised by its unique mix of historic sights, contemporary art and trendy styles, and is a must-visit on any trip to Barcelona. Situated just outside of the original city limits of El Barrio Gótico (or El Barrí Gòtic in Catalan), this town in the heart of Barcelona is home to some of the best attractions in the city.... 

The 'barrio' takes its name from the Catalan word 'Born' which means, among other things, a place where tournaments take place. The area is so called as this neighbourhood was once the site of medieval jousting competitions, and the Passeig del Born is where these events were once a regular fixture. Today, this street is known as the main avenue in the neighbourhood and is packed full of cool restaurants and bars.

The Born is well known for its picturesque alleys and intimate passageways dotted with hidden restaurants and one-of-a kind boutiques. The area is also home to plenty of amazing architectural gems such as the Santa María del Mar church, originally built as a beacon for sailors and fishermen in the medieval times.

A visit to the famous Picasso Museum is a must when strolling around El Born, where you will find a collection of over 4000 works housed in 5 spectacular palaces, built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Just a few steps from El Born, although actually in the Sant Pere neighbourhood, you can marvel at the Palau de la Música Catalana, one of Barcelona's most fabulous modernist buildings.

The Born area is bordered by the Gothic Quarter, the Eixample district and the impressive Ciutadella Park, while remaining near to the Barcelona beaches. Schöne und gemütliche Wohnung am Rande vom Zentrum auf einem „Berg“ von Barcelona, etwa 20-30 Minuten mit dem Bus im Zentrum. Super schöne Aussicht, wenn man da mit den ÖPNV oder Zufuß runter in die Stadt möchte. Die ÖPNV mit Verbindungen in alle Richtungen sind in naher Umgebung ( Max 3-5 min). Ein Fernseher und Balkon bieten Abends die gewisse Entspannung, nach welcher man nach einem Tag sehnt. In dieser Wohnung könnt ihr euch wir ihr wollt in der Küche austoben, denn für alles ist gesorgt: Herd, Töpfe, Zubehör,Pfannen, Messer, Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank sind vorhanden. Die Wohnung war soweit sauber und wir waren mit der Ordnung zufrieden als wir angekommen sind.

Elegí este apartamento para el viaje de unas amigas. Quería enseñarles Barcelona desde otra perspectiva. Su ubicación en El Carmel era ideal para recorrer Barcelona de arriba abajo caminando, hasta llegar al puerto el segundo día, viendo muchas cosas por el camino (Park Güell, Casa Vicens, Gràcia, Paseo de Gràcia, Gótic, el puerto...) sin tener que coger un taxi porque todo es cuesta abajo y lo que nos apetecía a nosotras era ir andando. El apartamento es más que correcto, muy limpio, con terraza, los baños están muy bien, y con una relación calildad/precio excelente.

Lovely apartment in a nice, quiet area. Everything was really clean and tidy when we arrived. Check-in ran smoothly. Overall, we we're very happy with our few days here and we would recommend it to other families.
