Description

This two-bedroom apartment is set in the heart of Barcelona’s El Born neighbourhood, only a short stroll from Passeig del Born. The area is filled with cafés, restaurants and boutique shops, while Estació de França is just a few minutes away on foot. For added convenience, the apartment comes with WiFi connection and air conditioning for year-round comfort.... 

The living room offers a sofa, TV and access to a balcony, creating a bright and inviting spot to relax after exploring the city.

The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker and essential utensils, along with a dining table where you can enjoy meals at home.

There are two bedrooms: one furnished with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and modern finishes.

The El Born neighbourhood is one of the most vibrant districts in Barcelona, famous for its narrow streets, cultural landmarks such as Santa Maria del Mar and the Picasso Museum, and its close proximity to the beach and Gothic Quarter. Excellent transport links make it easy to reach other parts of the city.

PLEASE NOTE: The property is also for sale. Therefore, access must be granted for commercial viewings coordinated by customer service, at times previously agreed with the tenant.

The beautiful Born neighbourhood in Barcelona is characterised by its unique mix of historic sights, contemporary art and trendy styles, and is a must-visit on any trip to Barcelona. Situated just outside of the original city limits of El Barrio Gótico (or El Barrí Gòtic in Catalan), this town in the heart of Barcelona is home to some of the best attractions in the city.... 

The 'barrio' takes its name from the Catalan word 'Born' which means, among other things, a place where tournaments take place. The area is so called as this neighbourhood was once the site of medieval jousting competitions, and the Passeig del Born is where these events were once a regular fixture. Today, this street is known as the main avenue in the neighbourhood and is packed full of cool restaurants and bars.

The Born is well known for its picturesque alleys and intimate passageways dotted with hidden restaurants and one-of-a kind boutiques. The area is also home to plenty of amazing architectural gems such as the Santa María del Mar church, originally built as a beacon for sailors and fishermen in the medieval times.

A visit to the famous Picasso Museum is a must when strolling around El Born, where you will find a collection of over 4000 works housed in 5 spectacular palaces, built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Just a few steps from El Born, although actually in the Sant Pere neighbourhood, you can marvel at the Palau de la Música Catalana, one of Barcelona's most fabulous modernist buildings.

The Born area is bordered by the Gothic Quarter, the Eixample district and the impressive Ciutadella Park, while remaining near to the Barcelona beaches. The flat was amazing! It's huge and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are clean and convenient, considering we were 2 guests and the fact that the apartment has 2 bathrooms was more than welcome. Location is good: Monumental station is just downstairs. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. A lot of places within reach. Das Apartment hat genau den Vorstellungen und den Bildern im Internet entsprochen. Die Lage war sehr zentral. 1 Schlafzimmer war zum Hinterhof und daher sehr ruhig. Das andere war zur Strasse aber die Fenster isolierten den Lärm sehr gut. 2 Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr praktisch.
